Gifts of the Earth Walk
The Gifts of the Earth Walk
A family adventure going in search of the Gifts of the Earth!
Enjoy an easy to moderate stroll through the rolling hills of a beautiful farm. Here we may spot Nguni, Impala or Fallow deer that roam freely within this protected area. A healthy population of Bushbuck, Caracal and Duiker are present, but are elusive so chances of spotting them are slim. Chances of being entertained by Vervet monkeys swinging in the trees is pretty good!
Along the way we will be enjoying stunning views of the Tsitsikamma mountains and even a glimpse of the ocean. This walk leads into the lush, green indigenous forest. Bring your binoculars and cameras, as there is plenty of bird life to be seen and perhaps we will spot a Knysna Loerie. A scavenger hunt along the trail is included for all to participate in their family groups.
The hike will end at a tranquil opening with views of the indigenous forest and a captivating story of the Gifts of the Earth and a tally of the wonders they have managed to collect or spot along the way.
This is an adventure aimed at families and friends, together to uncover the gifts of our earth and renew our appreciation for the world around us.
