A fully-guided, interactive walk exploring the authentic diversity of township life. In Dam-se-Bos, you’ll find a place of friendship and resilience and feel the vibrant energy of people who live there. Learn about Xhosa traditions and the role of the sangoma (traditional healer). Visit MADaboutART, a social enterprise using art and creative expression to ignite children’s imagination and achieve social change. Visiting children will have fun too, walking or joining in the fun at MADaboutART; singing, painting, beading, whatever the activity of the day is (fully supervised). Dam-se-Bos is a community helping itself to a brighter future. By offering guided walks a group of young mothers in the township are earning much needed income to sustain their families and create a brighter future for their children. Come and meet them, feel their passion and join them in making a difference www.madaboutart.org
