Time to get creative in the wild! We will produce our own drawing utensils from nature. At the picnic site we start by making charcoal and then craft “brushes” out of items we collect along the walk. You don’t need to be an artist to enjoy the fun charcoal and ink sketching exercises planned on route where we get to test our new tools.
COST: Free – SANParks permit required. Allow enough time to get through the SANParks gate and to fill out a permit, a queue is to be expected
BRING: Please bring a sketchbook A3 or larger and/or paper plus a board to use as a backing. We sketch standing or sitting while holding the board or sketchbook in our hands.
EXTRA NOTES: Varying landscape with more challenging slopes. Steps to be expected. Suitable for keen walkers and anyone who is reasonably active. leisurely walking pace with lots of stops.
